I'm so glad you're here! I have been a professional wedding photographer for 6 years and I LOVE the creative process of photography, I truly consider it an art form. I have a bachelor's degree in Advertising with an emphasis in media production so, with my long-time passion for photography, I was able to add videography to my skillset after graduating. I have been able to offer both photo and video services for the last 3 years.  

You might be asking why I chose to name my business "Singing Bird Photo + Film." It's named after my great-grandmother, Catherine Wells, who was an artist (painter) and she went by the pseudonym Singing Bird. She was given the name when she was a child living on a Cherokee Reservation in Oklahoma. You can see a preview of her beautiful artwork here. I have always had a special connection to her and this is my way of carrying on her legacy. She passed from Alzheimer's disease in 2014 and during the time she was losing her memory my family would often reflect on photographs of her life with her. I truly believe that seeing these photographs as tangible memories is where my desire for capturing and immortalizing your heartfelt moments feel comes from.
